Interactive small group sessions featuring hands-on practice of critical pediatric emergency medicine basic and advanced airway procedural skills using state-of-the-art simulation technology:

  • Bag mask ventilation
  • Direct laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation
  • Bougie tube introducer
  • Supraglottic airway devices (Intubating Fastrach LMA and King Airway)
  • Optical laryngoscopy devices (AirTraq)
  • Video laryngoscopy (GlideScope, C-MAC, and McGRATH)

NURSES

Interactive small group sessions featuring hands-on practice of critical pediatric emergency medicine basic and advanced airway procedural skills using state-of-the-art simulation technology:

  • Basic airway review (bag mask ventilation, airway adjuncts, preparation for endotracheal intubation)
  • Introduction to advanced airway devices and techniques
  • Intensive deliberate practice of difficult airway emergencies and airway complication simulations
